removing rear washer fluid squirter
i did a search for rear nozzle, and couldnt find anything...
how do you remove it? im getting a major leak in my car, which drips off of the driver side hatch strut. i took off the headliner and it doesnt seem like i can access the nozzle. and it turns out water is dripping from the drain tube on the sunroof.
help b4 i drown~~~

It's been quite a while, but I remember only having to remove the roof garnish piece. Its the small plastic roof panel at the back of the headliner, near the hatch. Take the dome light off first. The garnish is held on with just clips after that, so you have to carefully pry them to pop them off.
Even when you get it off, part of the roof beam will be in the way. But seeing how the squirter attaches on the inside should help. You just need to turn it about a quarter turn and it will come loose, there aren't any fasteners holding it. It is in a hole that has a couple notches 180 degrees apart. Also you need to get the hose off the squirter nozzle from the inside.

I don't remember it being that easy. The hole and the bottom of squirter is a tight enough clearance, that with the hose still attached its not going to happen. The bottom of the squirter that is on the inside of the roof, has a little nipple for the hose at a right angle. And I think it was aligned such that if you do the quarter turn, the nipple/hose will then act as a retainer.
The hose needs to come off first, then the quarter turn, and then you as you remove it you have to angle it so the nipple part clears the hole in the roof. With the panel off you can see which way to turn and angle it.

take 2 credit card, squeeze that sucker out.
or just go to town at it with vice grips. also FYI i siliconed that thing closed, and i still had a leak.
the source of it for me was the roof welds themselves. when you look at the roof, theres 2 rubber strips that run from the windshield to the rear hatch, use a flathead crewdriver to pry them both out, then use clear silicon and SEAL IT. then replace the 2 seals.
no more leaks for me. before that it was like a lake in the back of me crx.
good luck.

hmm maybe im not doing it right but i cant seem to get the nozzle out. i looked inside the car, and i cant see the nozzle at all. i tried the two credit cards from the top, squeezed the sides, squeezed the front and back, but it still wouldnt budge.
how the heck are you supposed to get this thing out? how do you access it from the inside? remove sunroof?
