Hondata Gasket fake & realdeal
I've heard that there are knockoffs going around. How do you distinguish the knockoffs from real?
My engine builder told me that the real one has Hondata stamped on the gasket itself. But a guy who's selling one said that there are no markings on his but when he bought it it came with a blue plastic package thing with Hondata written on it. Is his real?

i assume you're talking about the i/m gasket. if so, mine came the same way, on a sheet of blue cardboard with i think red hondata logos all over it and then laminated with plastic. i can't remember if it has the logo stamped on the gasket itself, but i would think that would be prone to leaking, could be wrong though.
