Wrong purchase
I recently bought a b18a from a friend. He thought that the motor was a 92-93. I was looking around and found that someone says the 90-91 is obd0. I just bought dc sport 4-2-1 two piece header for the 92-93 engine.
My question is what problems will I run into using that header, and what's the difference between the two engines when it comes to the header?
TIA

So how come they sell difference headers for the 90-91 and the 92-93?? Just curious because I don't wanna keep the header and when I get the motor into the car they don't work and I can't return them because it's gonna be past the return time.
They sell different headers because the exhaust, cat, and exhaust manifold are all different lengths between 90-91 Integras and 92-93 Integras. Also the oxygen sensor placement is different because of the change from OBD-0 to OBD-I.
Thanks alot man. I thought that I was gonna have to send them back. I just got the call from my step-dad that my package came in. So now I can sleep at night knowing that I don't have to pay a butt-load of shipping to return them.
I would say that shipping will cost less than having welding done to make your exhaust, cat, and header fit together. The header, cat, and exhaust are all different lengths, so it might be a bit of a pain. Of course, if you are using a b18a with a 92-93 header, cat, and exhaust, it will bolt up perfectly. although the o2 location will be different, you will see a little o2 bung right next to the flange that goes to the cat.
