I am looking to swap my ls integra for a 00 civic hatch but i need a little info on the civic. I plan to swap an itr motor and tranny into the hatch but i need to know what kinda motor comes in it. I have also heard that it doesnt have power windows or locks since it is a dx is this true? Any info on this car and the swap would be helpful. And also just give me your opinions on doing this because my other option is to buy a used 02 WRX but i kinda wanna stay honda.

The motor is a D16Y7, makes 106hp and 103ft-lbs torque.

It does not have power door locks or windows, but these can easily be added in for little cost.

 

A dx model comes with a/c and p/s but without power windows and locks, it also has the gay rear wiper. It will come with a fuel efficient d16y7 motor.

no rpm tach, no cruise control, no swaybars, rear drums, bad seats, well at least it has a cup holder.

 

dx hatches are shitty from the factory,,, but its lighter than a teg and they can make a real nice race car, unibody and all... a dx hatch would rip with a R motor in it.
