96-98 Honda Optional Rear lip for the COUPE!
Was there ever such a thing offered? I believe I've seen them before but I could totally be wrong, I've got a friend with a 96 coupe trying to go type R lookalike sorta i got him the front lip but i don't know much about the rear..the hatchback wont' fit will it?

actually there is a 96-98 Honda Optional Rear lip for the coupe.
the 99-00 rear is slightly different.
the hatchback rear wont fit. let me see if i can find a pic of it.

but you can buy it from http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/ under "honda accessories"
they also make a 99-00 coupe rear lip..but the 96-98 hangs a lot lower and is a different shape.

yes Honda does make a rear lip for the 96-98 Civic coupe and i think it looks way better than the factory 99-00 one, also cause i have it, will post pic as soon as i get my digi camera. you should know that the bumpers are different on both models/

well thats a nice lookin rear lip.
you have to swap over a pre '99 rear bumper though? thats a bit o' work eh?

Yea, I'm previous owner of that Si. You do indeed have to switch out to a 96-98 rear bumper. Not a cheap conversion at all, which is why you RARELY see that lip on an 99-00 Si. Then again, my car got backed into, so I had no choice but to buy a new bumper.
