How do I fix my offset ?
my car came with 205/55/15 rims
and I since then added Koni yellows and Eibach springs.
My car is NOT slammed, but when I have extra weight, like a passenger. the tires keep on rubbing.
so my rim offset is obviously wrong
how can I fix this without getting new rims ?

First figure out where it's rubbing - outside of the tire, or the inside. If the outside is rubbing, your offset is too low. If the inside is rubbing, it's too high.
You can find spacers to lower the offset, or you can take the wheels to a machine shop to remove material from the hubs to raise the offset. If you remove material, make sure there's enough on the hub to retain the strength necessary. And I wouldn't take off more than 5mm that way.
Stiffer springs could help too - you've got pro-kits, I assume? Even a marginal increase in spring rate to H&R or Neuspeed sports might make the difference you need.
edit: oh yeah - rolling the fenders is a good idea to try first.

If rolling the fenders isn't enough you could switch to a 205/50/15 or even a 195 tire.
Using a Kumho 712 tire as an example:
195/50/15 = 22.7" overall diameter
205/50/15 = 23.1"
205/55/15 = 23.9"

If it rubs on the outside, either roll the fenders, and/or get 195s. Or if it rubs on the inside, spacers would seem like the way to go. BTW, I'm lowered on H&R Sports w/ a +31 offset on 195s w/o rubbing.

Tires are indeed the culprit. Either run 205/50, which will allow a shorter sidewall and wider tire or 195/55 (stock tire size for a 99-00 Si), which is a taller sidewall and thinner tire. Do you know what your offset is at right now?

have you ever done this personally? I have asked a couple people about this before and they said it was not worth the risk of damaging the strength of the rim
