Default Wheel offset question, please help

2000 Civic Si with a 2.5" drop. I know I cant get a 42mm offset or it will rub the body. I was told to get a 38mm offset but I cant find any rims with that offset. Will at 40mm offset rub the body too? What can I do to get the right offset?

ET38 is more "sticked out" than ET42...

So the lower the number, wheels are more out the fender...

ET38 will probably not rub but I cannot vouch for that since I do not know the tire size on the wheels nor the tire shape...

On my previous 15" rims ET38 I had Dunlop tires which had some strange shape and would love to rub... Now I got new rims with ET38 and Toyo Proxes and they don't rub at all...

The car is lowered 2" all the way...

Jesus Christ... what are you? Can't you read???

If ET38 IS NOT RUBBING and ET40 is more inside the fender than ET38 then ET40 WILL NOT RUB..... JESUS F****N CHRIST...

And if you want help try to write which tires you will use and so on...

And not just asking **** like: " I have a problem with my car... can anyone help?"

Damn dude, I think you need to get a girl or boy friend, which ever you prefer. I didnt exactly know what "ET" stood for... maybe you should say next time cause here in the USA I have only see mm for offsets.

I want to run a 17" x 7" rim with Pirelli Pzero Nero MS tires since its an all season tire and it will be a winter car. Need anymore information??
