i ordered mine from KTeller, hopefully they will show up by next week. i went with the street setup. the only guys who probably have them on DA's right now are running the DC setup. guess if you order them, you and i will be guinea pigs

im curious if they give out the same springs as a crx... (and WRX, and accord, and integra and whatever application they give.) basically, do they give any design thought into it other than making it fit?

actually the wrx and evo and other springs do have their own spring rates..
as the rsx and ep3 have different rates..

what your seeing is every basic jackass, copy and pasting the same description for every item..

different rates? really.... (please correct me if I'm wrong)

yeah, youd THINK there would be different rates for a 2200lb CRX than a 2700lb integra, or even a 3300lb WRX. maybe im giving too much credit for any "thought" put into these kits....

actually they preset the coilovers for maximum tuning from omni for each individual car for the best set up. i have them on my ef with the type-r rear lca's and love them. all i have is the coilovers for suspension and im holding corners at 70 plus mph/ with stock 185/65/14 tires. really fun and really good price and leo at passwordjdm is the place to purchase them for ur ride

and what were saying is they are useing the same spring rates for a car that has a weight of about 2200lbs as they do on a car that has a weight of over 3,000lbs. Now does that to you sound like, "tons of reaserch and development spent on designing these coilovers". I think not

Ouch.

Now I`d like to see the the shocks dyno`d for a few different applications. I wonder if the valving is basically the same on all of them.

I'm not getting into this but the Omni suspension is something that I was looking forward to putting on my car, but not if something does not clear up about all this. anyone with anything positive? from omni? are we missing something?

my take on it is the the shock and the spring are the same for every application, the top mount, and bottom mount are the interchangeable parts. makes for an easy mass production system, now doesn't it?

THIS IS ALL SPECULATION, just my guess

ok so i've been watching this thread for awhile since i first posted and just have to say. yes omni lists the same spring rates for all vehicles but have you guys looked at other suspension makers to see coilover rates? i looked at tein since so many seem to think the SS is awesome (i personally think that its alright) and guess what i saw, tein ss for the DA integra 9k & 5k (soft ride), for DC integra 8k & 6k, for the 02-04 impreza 5k & 5k also the flex was 10k & 8K for the heavy impreza.

in my opinion 10k & 8k is actually a good spring rate for street in all 4 cylinder cars from the paperweight crx to the brick wrx. so long as the valving in the shock body matches the springs there shouldn't be a problem. besides you can order custom rates anyway.

So show a company that offers a ton of options for these cars.. all you are whining about is that omni uses the same coilover for alot of honda apps but if I remember correctly every one using slip overs all use the exact same coils on hondas from 88-00 so I think you are just trying to bring a negative light to the omni name I myself got to drive around in a few cars when omniman brought them by a shop I was working at before he officially released them and since I have ridden in a Type-r, Ek, EG, and a DA and the all felt great so quit whining until you actually test them out
