Default Adjusting Coil Overs

Hey Guys, got another stupid question for ya. I need to adjust my coil overs. I want to raise them a little bit, but I don't know how. I know you need to use an allan wrench, but that doesn't really help. PLEASE HELP!

Actually it depends on the kind of coil overs you have. Some use two wrench type things. You would just have to
Loosen the lug nuts on the wheel (s)
Raise it up
Take the lug nuts off and then take off the wheel
Loosen the coil overs....they are two really thich rings around where the cylindar that is threaded is threaded. If you turn it (looking at the coil) turn it from right to left. Not back and forth. But turn it that way. It will lower the gigantic washer looking things ....thus lower your car. If you turn it from left to the right it will raise them higher and make the car sit higher. Remember to try and get them level. Use a level if you can. If you have some cash....get an alignment everytime after you mess with you suspension....you may effect the toe of your car and cause unwanted wearing. Even more so than the already bad neg camber. ( if you don't have a front and back camber kit
already.)

your best bet is to throw those pice's of **** away. I hate coil over. the ride sucks. but if you have full suspen. coil overs then thats a diff story. and I know of two diff. one's it's the ones that you use an allen key, (losen it up and trun to how high you want it, and tighten back up) and then the other ones that use's those arm things, that hook on to the grooves on the out side. ( just take to of the arms hooks and put them on and turn the opp. way of eachother and it will brake lose. good luck
