first thing to check would be your fuses. 90% chance you just have a blown fuse. next check your dimmer switch. it might be bad or something. it say about 7% chance. and if all else fails check the power to the bulbs on the back of the cluster, and check the actual bulbs themselves to se if they are bad. maybe a 3% chance on that one.

dude im in the same exact boat.except i fired mine when i hooked my tach light up to my ciggerette lighter and then blew something.i took a vlotameter to the cluster and i have auctual power but no lights.i think in your situation its prolly just a fuse because what are the odds of all of those clusters having lighting problems? good luck man.

Might be different on different models. My '88 Si used the same fuse (don't remember which fuse # it was) to run the instrument lights, corner (parking) lights, and taillights. When it went, it was due to a faulty taillight bulb and moisture in the taillights. They were conspiring to create a short and pop the fuse, but ONLY when it was very humid outside, or actually raining. I replaced the bulb and it helped for a while, but there were still some issues I never tracked down because I sold the car a while later. The first time it happened, there was a cop right behind me. I took off from a light, looked down at the gauges, and they were black. They hadn't been a second ago when I was waiting for the light to change! Just then the cop's flashers came on... I pulled into the nearest parking lot, and he asked if I knew why he pulled me over. I told him I didn't, but something odd had just happened when I pulled away from the light - the gauge lights died. He said he pulled me over for no taillights, but noticed the blinkers and brake lights were working fine.

I asked if I could borrow his flashlight (which he was shining in my eyes at the time), and pretty much grabbed it from him, then dove under the dash. I pulled the fuse, popped in a spare that I had in a box in the glovebox, and he watched the lights light up... and then it popped again. He figured out I wasn't trying to BS him and let me go on my way with a warning, since I told him I was headed straight home before anyone could rearend me!

Check to see if you have your corner lights (front and rear) and your taillights. Not your blinkers or brake lights - those are different fuses - just your "running lights" or "parking lights" or whatever the hell different people call them. After that, we'll have to start looking at different areas.

on the dimmer switch find the power wires and ground. Look it up in a shop manny to find the right wires when you do . cut the wires and find a new power supply ex. fuse just use a test light to find power and ground and you are set. But i really think it is you dimmer switch itself if one of your friends has a crx hb ask them if you can use. so you can see if the switch is bad or if you need to run new wires

for the dimmer switch wires there is no power coming out wut so ever. we've used the needle thingy to test for power.still nothing. wut im gonna do is, wut u told me
im just gonna look for the power wires and ground. and rewire it to somewhere else.

if you have no power comming OUT of the switch then it sounds like you just need a new switch. replace it.

like i said if theres no power OUT then its probably the switch. what you need to check is to see if the swich has any power going IN to it.
