Ive never seen it in the united states. And even if you were to get it, it wouldent work right unless they had a USA Update CD for the Nav system. otherwise it would be giving you everything in japanese and all that good chit.

Just to eloborate on this I don't even think they make a us cd for that system as it was'nt available in the states. So not only will it be in japanese but you will be in uncharted terretory.

jump over to preludeonline.com, i think someone over there did a whole JDM CC install guide, you have to run all new sensors and wires for it to work, LOTS of work... he just did the cc though not the navi, cause like said before its all JDM, no US cds were made

Damn, every time I see an interior shot of a JDM 5th gen I start drooling over that steering wheel again- as well as the navigation/ climate control system. Why'd we have to get gipped out of the cool toys?

somebody on preludeonline had the entire nav/climate system for sale a while back. From what i understand no one could figure out how to make it work.........Just to do the regualer digital CC (5th gen version) will take you forever and in my opinion not worth the money.......

Actually you just missed it on ebay, even this complete it would be next to impossible to do.

and here's part of one for sale now.

Unless, of course, you can read Japanese. A pity, and aftermarket just doesn't look the same when you try to fit it in.

The JDM versions of our cars are always better, stock for stock.

Ive also got a 4G, JDM 1992 SiVTEC. Theyre pretty low and firm suspension as standard, lots of advantages.
