Default 1992-1996 Honda Prelude SI owners

Whats up guys, I am selling the rear center console, speaker grill, speaker bracket, factory amp, and 2 speakers, one is a Rockford Midrange speaker (6x9) and the other is a Kicker Freeair sub (6x9). Both work, I am selling both with the kit so you can either use the sub, or the midrange speaker if you already have rear subs. It is everything you need to put the factory VTEC sub in your car..

For 50$, its all yours, let me know..

Todd, don't delete this yet =~) I am giving the honda-tech guys a chance before it sells on ebay..

would you be willing to sell the kicker free-air alone?
You could help a fellow VTEC'er out

Just buy the whole thing! The sub cost me $90 new.. 50$, you get everything, and could sell it without the sub again =~) I really need to get rid of this stuff...

That's ok, I don't want the whole thing...i really don't even have $50 to spare right now due to the way this recession has hit me.

But could you tell me how you liked the Kicker free-air 6x9? I am very interested in the possibilities of this sub. I don't have HUGE demands for bass but i definately want some richer and fuller sound with more punch. The fact that i wouldn't have to put subs in my trunk is a definite turn on....so what did you think of it when you had it?

I liked it, it was a worthwile upgrade for what it was, the stock speaker was blown, so this was the only replacement to use with the amp.. I would really sound a lot better with a small aftermarket amp out of a aftermarket stereo.. The stock amp just isn't up to the power for great sound..

Cool. So the stock 6x9 is a midrange speaker and not a "sub", is that right? So you think the 6x9 kicker sub has much more potential than the stock 6x9?

No stock is a SUB... So I replaced it with a better sub... And yes, the Kicker has much more potential...

yeah thats what i want it for. i need a replacement because i think the stock one is blown. i want some good bass but i dont want the weight of a box with subs. im hoping this will work great. i plan to get like a 100 watt amp or so to power just the kicker alone.

yeah tell me how that goes! we think alike That's basically exactly what i want to do....assuming the sub sounds good enough.
