Default RESULTS OF COMPRESSION TEST, OIL CONSUMPTION TEST, UPDATE ON DASH LIGHTS

I got the results of my compression test for my 98 Prelude. Let me know what you guys think.

Dry 170 165 165 165

Wet 185 190 200 200

Also had a leak down test, and an oil comsumption test. Here are the results from the oil comsumption test: Oil is down 2/3 of a quart after traveling 621 miles. They say this is within acceptable limits set by honda. What do you guys think?

I have been having a problem with my dash lights. Since I had the car they been flickering on and off. Sometimes they are on for a few days, then they go off. Today they were on but they starting flickering on and off again. They had been off for a few months. I have no aftermarket anything hooked up. I unplugged the dimmer switch to see if that was it, but they still flickered on and off when I had the switch unplugged. All I know is that they came on when it was real cold, then as the car got warmer, they started to flicker and now they are off. I thank you guys for the help you have given me so far, but anymore will do. Does anyone know someone who is good at electrical diagnosing? Anyway thanks guys. Please let me know anything that will help any of these situations.

i have a 97 civic and the dash lights were flickering also and then just went out...i found out why after a few months.....u either have a bad ground or hot wire that is lose and the reason why it starts acting up as it get warmer is that the wires get warmer and strart to loosen up.....if thats not it then u have either a bad or dirty dimmer switch....when your lights start flickerin.....twist the dimmer switch from bright to dim fast and see what happens....

with the wet test raising compression, you need some rings, and that may be ok by hondas spec but not by mine, I like my cars to not burn oil at all

by getting all new rings (oil, compression) u will probably stop alot of the oil consumption but u definatly need new ones
