I sold my USDM all red tail lights and was wondering how do I get the wiring harness off????
It doesn't seem like it just pulls off and I don't want to break it. It's not in the Helms either. So if someone can tell me the proper way to take it off then taht would be great thanks.

I know how to get the bulbs out. I'm talking about removing the plug part from the tail lights.
When you remove the taillights from the car you have to disconnect a plug from the hatch wiring harness. I'm trying to remove the plug and all the wires itself. The bulbs are no problem.

If I remember, it snaps on. Let me go look...
:edit: Yep, grey harness connector slides onto the black post of the taillight assy. I believe there is a tab on the post that locks it into position.
While pulling straight up on the grey connector: Use a small regular screwdriver to gently pry the base of the grey connector away from the black tab.
Are tail lights usually sold without the harness?

Hmmmmm.......damn i really don't want to break that tab off. It seems very fragile. So I put a flat head at the base of the plug and push up while holding onto the lug and pulling?
My friend told me to stick something thin between the tab and the plug from the top of it and pull, but now i don't know what is right. I guess i'll go home and check.
