I went back home in Malaysia recently, and I was so amazed on how the car tuning market there was like. performance part can be obtained easily, and partly because they receive half cut cars, ie. totalled cars that still have engine, and other performance parts. so you can get b18c easily there as well. heard some news though US suppliers are starting to import these half cut cars.... is this true?

and damn they have so many evo's and skyline.ggrrrrr....

 

yes it's true. as a matter of fact, there's a DC5 that's been cut in half for sale in socal.

These half cut cars you are refering to are generally called clips. I have only heard of front clips which is basically the front end. There's a guy in Cali (Jason Perez?) who had JDM ITR front clips for sale on his website. I have never purchased anything from him nor do I know how reputable he is, but this may be a possibility for my project in the near future.
