JDM D15B cam in D16z6
What kind of gains would this yield...I found a D15B head for cheap and wondering if its worth getting and swapping cams.
I have ebay intake and custom cat-back for mods.
Thanks in advance

the D15B cam is much more aggressive than the Z6 cam. Some people even equate it to the Zex 55410. I guess depending on the price it's worth it.
By Ebay Intake, do you mean just a CAI, or some no-name intake mani?

yea you could, you may want to play with the timing... if you could get some Dyno time that would be your best bet to figure out where best to place it. Def a good upgrade.
yes me and toyosupr(neukin) were talking abou this yesterday. He bought a OBX stg1 cam for his z6 before he swapped the d15b in and found out that the stock d15b cams vtec specs were the same lift as most stg1's... Def a good upgrade.
It will make more power than a stock d15b and will pull good up top. I recommend a ls/b16 throttle body with this too. Better for matching it in upper RPMS where that cam will make power...
possibly get it bored by maxbore.com to 62mm for $100 and then port match you IM to the TB,
^see how u can get carried away!

^ if you are actually doing this swap, then you have both cams and can put the cam gear on both cams making reference to the cylinder 1 lobe to see if timing is the same, RIGHT?
