Would you fix the rust before you sell? 1994 EX
I have a 1994 EX sedan with 174,000 miles on it. It has all of the typical rust on the quarters just above the rear fascia. The rocker on the driver's side just forward of the rear wheel has a rust hole about the size of a quarter on it. I'm going to be selling it in a couple of months. Other than the rust, the car is in excellent shape and has been maintained very well. Would it be worth it to fix the rust before I sell it or should the future buyer just be expected to accept the rust due to the mileage? Is it worth it to fix the rust? Just looking for your opinions. It'd be a great car for a young kid or someone just looking for something to run back and forth to work in.
I would not fix the rust. A car, with that much mileage, is expected to have some. I would not see you recuperating your investment in the rust repair.

Definitely not worth it.
