Default Dumb q: What's the best route for me to go fast?

okay, so I know it's a stupid question and I apologize, but I'm looking for some input as to what I should to to go fast... I'm not above getting rid of the teg, she's been with me for a while and all but ya know.
1993 DA Integra 2100 lbs, LS/VTEC 11.2:1 forged bottom-end, b16a1 pr3 head w/ GSR cams, Crappy I/H/E, ITR gears in the Cable YS1 tranny but left the open diff)
...And SLOW as *****... I go like 9.8 in the 1/8th mile slow. (back when I had the enkei RSF-2's on it... 19 lbs each... now it's on steelies)
The valve seals are gone, she smokes when I get on her.

Like I said I'm not above selling her, but I wanna know what it would take, easiest/quickest route to going fast is... I can get a p&p'ed head with tax money if you think that's the problem... Some people say it's the DA chassis but it weighs 2100 lbs... Is there more to it that I'm missing?

Anyhow, any input is quite appreciated, I'm not sure if I should sell her or what... Maybe fix the valve seals and sell the engine and start a turbo build? I'm just at a loss right now and I see guys going 7.901's in the 1/8th mile and it makes me sick because they don't slave over working on their cars like I do every weekend. :-(

Thanks again,

Ratliff

OH, and BTW I have a ratty old 85 Crx HF (old school) And I'm not above going Fuel Injected SOHC turbo on it if you guys think that would turn some heads... I'd want to save up and do it right though with forged guts and a sleeved block... I'm not as well-versed on SOHC setups as I am B-series stuff though so it would be a learning experience... I know it has a D-series in it right now but it's carbeureted and about a 6 hour drive from where I live now.

Well I dunno about all-motor as much as I just want to haul ***, u know? All motor is probably less expensive if I did stock block and just did a lot of headwork but even then I wonder if it's enough to get me where I want to be...I'll hafta do some h22 research. ;-)

Theres a lot of ways to make a fast car. Spend a lot of time researching, it helps a lot. Dont expect to just throw a bunch of parts on and expect it to make so and so hp. Though a h22 would be nice I'm not sure they have mount kits for a DA chassis. If I were in your shoes I'd sell the setup thats in the car now and pick up a good condition motor and turbo it. But thats just me

Haha so that's 2 votes for H22 in the DA and 1 vote for doing a turbo build. ;-)

I don't understand why u can't make an Allmotor DA haul *** w/2100 lb car... I guess It just doesn't make enough power???

I mean like... Slicks + LSD equipped... What would be a respectable time for a 190-195 whp 2100 lb DA to run in the 1/8th-1/4??? I just don't know what to expect... never seen an All-Motor Da Except mine (if u can count it as "all-motor" ... more like just NA lol)

I don't want to jack your thread but how did you fit the ITR gears into the cable tranny?

I've asked around if this was possible everyone told me no

They just fit, really... Off with the old, in with the new... IF you use the ITR LSD you need to take a grinder to the casing because it touches this little... thing. hard to explain, there are threads on here about it if you look around. (OLD threads)

But yea, it just fits... This was a 1993 YS1 btw... If yours isn't a 92-93 I think u can't do it... Been a while since we put them in but let me know if you can't find it I'll look it up... G2Ic.com probably has info on it as well in their forums since we're all cable over there.

harry, your already know what i'm doin, so that's my suggestion if you want to keep your gay *** DA. but do you really help on this one? you aren't stupid by any means, you had the built ls/vtec back when people were still trying to do swaps and ****. you just need to make up your mind on what you want to do.

PS..........no go on the 4door

if your really putting down 195 whp and the car really weighs 2100 lbs then with out a doubt you should be mid to high 13's. in the quarter mile.

My car doesn't put down 195... Prolly nowhere near it. I'm asking hypothetically... if it had around 190-195 what would be a guesstimated time for the 2100 lb DA? I can get to 195 fairly quickly w/ tax money (head, cams, header, tune should get me damned close)

That's all.
