Default Dyno numbers on my cursed Civic

Setup

Head:
B16 head
Mild head porting
REV Valves and Valvesprings and retainers
AEM Cam gears set to 0
Rev Hard Intake manifold
AEM FPR, Rail
GSR Cams

Block
Golden Eagle sleeved 84.5 mm B16 block
Wiseco 9.2:1 CR pistons
Eagle rods (small rod bolt)
O ringed

Misc
Neukin Exhaust manifold
Lovefab dump tube (more on this later)
Precision GT35 63 A/R 76 trim
RevHard Intercooler
Vortech BOV
Hondata s200 tuned by turbotegb18c (thanks for your help and patience again)
3" open downpipe
116 octane

We had all kinds of issues with my car that day, from blowing up ignitors to intercooler pipes bustin off at anything over 22 psi. Car was dynoed at Trackmasters in Huntsville Alabama ( about 5.5 hours away from where I live).
Big thanks go out to Paul, Art (trackmasters2), David(fixed my distributor issues), Jayson(taking driving duties) and everyone else that was there. I was hoping to get to the 430- 450 whp mark, but it didn't happen for me this time. I think we could have gotten there if the pipes could have held the pressure, but it wasn't worth the trouble for the extra 20 ponies. Car is a daily driver and made the trip both ways.

Thanks. Im not really sure why it did that, but we cleaned it a lil after. The intercooler pipe blew off on that run also towards the end.

I was real low on pump gas when we were doing my regular tune. It was effecting my fuel pressure and causing problems so we put the race fuel in early. My baseline on pump was 358@ 15-16psi.

And yes, the numbers are there because its a b16.

If the piping blew it would go rich not lean. Thats gettin up there on the lean side, good numbers though.

Not really, if the piping popped off, the map would go right back to the lower side of the map, therefore, causing a lean condition/part throttle tune of the map. That's just my speculation. The piping kept popping off so there was no way for me to tune or figure out why it was doing that at the end. I belive we have alot left in the car but with all the problems we were having and tuning 4 cars prior to this, at 12 midnight, we were all pretty tired and ready to call it a day. James (to4evcv) will come back with better #'s for sure once we get everything situated. Congrats on being in the 400whp club with much to improve upon. Paul

Good #'s, but that A/F ratio isn't very good.

Its a dyno jet and about 4 hours away from mobile, AL.

It was getting lean towards the end, it was 11.8 at 8600 tho, the red dotted line is 11.8 to make it easier to see. It did creep up a lil after that and rev limit was brought to 8800. We reved higher after that, but the gains weren't enough to keep it up high.

nICE numbers... I suggest using better clamps for your IC piping. The clamps you get from Home Depot are not going to be up to par for that kind of boost. Some band clamps....they will do the trick!

They were T bolts that popped of. I have also had pressed on clamps come off. I am gonna bead the pipes for next time.

They came that way from RevHard, pretty dissappointing. The intercooler inlet/outlet are beaded and the outlet hose popped off also. I know that one was tight, so I dunno.

lol im shooting for 400whp on racegas with my stock head and stock sleeved b16 motor, it isnt that hard. A motor like that should be hitting in the 5XX's on racegas.

AND YES A B16

That's crazy, T bolt clamps are the best. I hope I don't have any problems my pipes don't have bead on them either. I don't think there's any room for my pipes to move to pop off though.

Getting to 400whp is pretty tough, alot harder than I thought for sure. I run around with 15-16 on pump gas and its already a lil too much on the streets. I pump the boost up at the track and I use race gas there. Why do people always try to make big hp on pump? I prefer to have the added safety from detonation that race gas provides. Its ok if you can hook a 400whp civic on the street, but I know from experience that 360whp spins in 4th gear at 100+ mph.
