Car jerks at low rpm in 1st and 2nd gear.....
This has just been a common thing going on with my car recently. Basically when im in traffic and traveling at low speeds of 30mph or below the car jerks at the lower rpms when I let off the gas. I do need a new clutch and will be replacing it soon. Im not sure if that has to do with anything. Basically 2500 rpms or below the car will jerk in first or second gear when off the gas otherwise stall obviously when below 1000 rpm. If anyone could help me out that would be great......
that sounds odd, maybe your car isnt producing enough spark? could that be it? that sounds really interesting, i think you might also want to get that clutch changed out first, if it has to be replaced that might be where you want to start when you get to diagnosing the problems...
It is odd. It feels as if the clutch was trying to disengage too early. I dont think it has to do with the spark but more with the clutch. The spark plugs were replaced not too long ago. Also im not sure if this is normal or not but right before you should should normally put the clutch in before the car stalls the car has a little jerk forward as well. May it just be a sign that I need a new clutch?
look at the clutch master cylinder or the slave cylinder one of them might be messed up and the clutch might not be in all the way b/c of that watch the fluid if it is constantly low then that is your problem
i had the same problem and it was the master cylinder and it was because it was low on fluid so make sure u get it fixed bc i had to buy a new one

I'm experiancing the same problem. I thought it was normal for a manual to jerk like that, simply because I've been teaching myself how to drive one...I've got a brand new ACT clutch in it though, so what is it? The master cylinder?
