just got my motor running...it's a semi-built allmotor gsr...i have some white smoke(kinda a greyish/white) coming out when i'm at idle or when i'm at a stop light...not alot of smoke, but it still smokes...the car does not smoke when i drive(accelerate or decelerate)...it's fine when i'm driving...what i've heard is, it could be running a little rich, or since i have a hollowed out stock cat, the gasses could be trapped in there while the car is idling, and then it'll blow out when i rev it, or start driving...is this true? i need to know...thanks.

You could possibly be burning oil.

 

Are you sure it's not a little blue? Sounds like oil to me. I've always thought that white was coolant, very light blue was oil and black was very rich mixture...
