white smoke when vtec engages?
i just noticed this morning on my way to work some white smoke coming out of my exhaust. Now the car is only doing this once my primaries hit, then once my secondaries hit a tad bit more starts to come out. It's not alot of smoke, but enough for me to see it in my rear view. Any suggestions? Should i be worried?
btw, car is a 1992 dx hatch with a gs-r swap.

no its more like black smoke is shitty old oil and white / grey smoke is clean good oil ... it sounds like you might need to replace your piston rings if its smoking when your getting up in the higher rpms you might be able to get away with some thicker oil but it will most likely get progressive but the oil might keep it from smokin good luck !

well if its burning coolant its more than likely your head gasket is about to blow and coolant is leakin and burnin up thats where your getting your white smoke so invest in a headgasket pretty soon should fix your troubles
