Ok so i got a 4th gen accord with a jdm dohc f22b and a h22 auto tranny with lsd.. Now i have been running the stock accord ecu but i know i need a h23 ecu ..Now my question is will it shift 6.5k+ or will it still be the 6.2k shift i get with the stock ecu? What i am asking is do i need just the h23 ecu or the ecu and the auto tranny ecu? Does the ecu make the shift point or the auto tranny ecu?

 

the auto tranny ecu changes the shift points, the ecu doesnt care where u shift at

 

Does the h23 auto shift at a higher rpm?

 

i dobut it would make that big of a difference, if u want to shift right at redlien, ur gonna have to manually upshift the lever

 

Yea i got a h23 ecu today...Lets me rev a lot higher when i shift my self {like 7k not 6.4k}. But i still need to know how to get it to shift later. Is there a auto control ecu flash or something i can get?

 

the tcm decides the shift points. the ecu is just for the motor itself.

i dont know of any company that can control the shift points.

 

they make a dohc f22 in japan ??? i have neaver heard of that is it the same block and just a different head or what ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
