few questions about suspension setup(h&r sport, kyb agx, and top hats)

I'm highly considering gettin kyb agx's, h&r sport springs(seem to be what i want for a drop, and some custom made tophats that will allow about an inch more of travel. I don't drag race often, but I do it a few times during the summer, so would these be a good match for me? Also with the top hats being an inch different , will that make these springs go from about a 2" drop to a 3" drop?

Custom top hats only extend the shock shaft. The springs upper perch and lower perch is in the exact same location, so there is no lowering. A properly designed top hat should allow the extra room for the shock body to travel inside slightly. This action allows more free shock travel befor hitting the bump stop, and thats all.
