Need suspension advice
I am interested in some H&R OE Sport Springs. I would like to know if they are compatible with Koni Yellow shocks.
Could you also tell me what other options I would have with these springs?
I need new shocks so I might as well change the springs while I am at it.
I cannot drop my car. I am willing to deal with the .75 drop that I will get with the OE H&Rs.
Thanks for the help.

Illuminas, bilstein HDs, basically any shock you want will work with those springs. If you go with the Yellows then I think you may as well take advantage of them with a higher spring rate if you are looking for better performance, you don't have to get a 2 inch drop to get the handalling afforded by better springs and shocks.
I think a 1 inch drop is very very modest on Civics not real noticable, and does not scrub coming outta every driveway or speedbump. I have a lower drop with Eibach Sportlines and I don't even scrub on 95% of the speedbumps around here, if I do I probably have more people in my car.
But anyways, yeah, pretty much any shock will do you, what exactly are you looking for in a shock?

Someone up here in seattle just told me he's got a set of the Tokico Blues (HP, non-adjustable) he wants to sell for $150.

Potholes that can swallow your car.
Snow, oh that stinks. I carry a shovel with me all winter. I dig myself out of a spot in the morning and have to dig a path for a spot in the evening. Plus I like my stock exhaust and would not like to have some snow rip it off.
Uh I like being able to cruise with my friends and laugh when they can't keep up with me when the road gets rough.
I work as a paintball ref and play a lot. These fields are outdoors. The roads are horrible. I don't want to scrape.
I don't want to deal with camber correction.
I would like to stiffen it up a bit when before I hop on a road for some spirited driving, then return the shocks to normal when I go to work.
The difference between the Koni's and the Honda shocks is $10 a shock.

Re: Need suspension advice (deepnite)
That is the root of the problem. I have a hobby that does not fit in correctly with my life.
A truck/van would be the proper solution.
