Default Hondata help

I installed the Stage 2 Hondata last night and there are a few problems concerning the idle. It was set to 750 RPMs.

At times, it will idle at 500, other times at around 750...but the car seems rough...not smooth and quiet like the stock ECU.
The other problem is that sometimes the idle surges...while others it doesnt. It did not do this at all with the non-Hondata ECU.

Any ideas?

you might check your fuel pressure and see that it matches the pressure that the rom was set up for....

Go over to Hasport and have Joe adjust the idle and IAC duty cycle w/ his stage 4.

Yea Im going to have to wait till after the 16th to have Joe do some tuning.
Right now he burned the ITR w/JUN3 cam program on there and to tell you the truth its running like ***. Feels way slower then with the Mugen P28 I was running before...when I accelerate it feels like its falling on its face.

What injectors are you running?
Isn't that program meant to run stock injectors?

I set the pressure lower (cant go any higher then 60) and the car felt like total ***...it was bearly accelerating. Damn I need to get this thing tuned!

Maybe a VAFC w/ chipped P28 would have been the better choice.

forget about how the car feels. Your injectors are too small to make that motor
feel halfway decent. right now you are concerned about idle and drivability.

You NEED 310s to run a B20. No questions asked. That's a RULE.

Come on Val, of all people.. you should know this.

But if you're in dire need of injectors, and feel safe w/ 270cc RC's.. I got a set.

If the 290cc Prelude injectors are high-impedance they will work fine.
If you can get them cheap, by all means go for it.

But if you've gotta spend like $250.00+ for them.. just opt for 310s.

Hell, since you got Hondata.. you might as well get some RC 370cc injectors.
I think they cost only $7.-8.00 more per piece than 310s.
