OK i have already searched and couldn't find any solutions. My car (a 92 cx hatch with a d15b) recently starting doing this wierd low idle. After the car is at operating tempature. It will sometimes begin to drop the idle to around 400-500 rpm. the exhaust starts to make a popping noise kind of like a misfire but not really and the car starts to shake and acts like it wants to stall. It mostly happens when i sit at a red light. but then other days it drives fine. WTF?

 

When was the last time you replaced the spark plugs and fuel filter? Also, the main relays and ignition coil in our cars are notoriously weaksauce.

 

where would i find the main relay on a 92 cx. And as for the coil i would have replace the whole dizzy right?

 

There is a plug on your TB the is for the TPS take that off. If your car then idles high and doesnt do eratic idleing then you need a TPS. Other than that take off your IAC on the back of your intake manifold and see if the screen is still intact on the IAC. If it isnt then buy a new one, you can pick one up for like $10.

 

My tps is fine cause i am not throwing any codes. And i already tried cleaning my iacv and still nothing.
