Default ITR intake manifold question..

I can pick one up from a buddy for 150 bucks.. Question being is it worth it over the stock gsr as far as bang for the buck in this case? I keep assuming skunk2's manifold is a type-r just slapped up with there name and if so then the gains should be there. Just want your opinion if you were in my shoes would you do it? TIA

I don't think the OEM ITR mani won't align correctly if installed on a B18C1 head.

its got the GSR flange on it, also. The GSR flange has a coolant line running through it, the ITR does not.

Pretty much all intake manifolds have the coolant lines by the #4 runner.
ITR included.

One thing I noticed about my victor x is that no coolant runs through it, all the passages are blocked off.

Second thing is, you're going to have to substantially modify your charge pipe once the manifold is on there.

if photopoint worked i could show u the differance between the itr head the gsr head... but it doesnt! a few bolts on the itr head is position differant on the head so the holes are aligned differantly... u can redrill the holes to make it fit... that is another option

Damn!!! Is there any manifold that I can slap on without having to modify besides the obvious of the charge pipe for a skunk2 and TB spring plate?? Any suggestions on just a plug in piece without any pain in the *** modifying? Thanks again.

Considering how cheap you're getting the ITR mani, you could have it redrilled for use on a P72 head, that's one option, but how were you going to bypass the IAB??

And where the hell were you last night foo!
