ok, math seems like a good idea, but waiting for every time i fill up to find out how my engine is burning takes too long...i'd rather just see it while im driving so i can get a better estimate.....just wondering if anyone has ever used this and/or know how difficult it may be to install

I don't know from first hand experience on installation - but I do know that they're almost useless. If you've ever been in a BMW or similar car with an MPG gauge, they are so incredibly "spastic" that getting a meaningful reading is often difficult.

Yea I thought that too, but that thing is cool you can train it and calibrate it, seems like its pretty cool. I might try it one day.

Doesnt this gauge just tell you what kind of mpg your getting at that particular moment? I don't see any use for this gauge if thats all it can tell you..
