Default DA Hood Latch Cable needed for JDM ITR Conversion?

Like the title reads, will I need a DA Integra Hood Latch Cable for the JDM ITR Front Conversion? I think I have asked this questions in a previous thread, but it is no longer in my watched topics and I couldnt find it via search. If someone could let me know, that would be great. Oh yeah, does $30 sound like a rip for a used 90-93 Integra Hood Latch and Cable?

I have a DA cable that I'm gonna use for my Conversion, I'm pretty sure it's long enuff.

Oh yeah, $30 IS a rip. I got mines for $10 at a local junkyard.

Here comes the dumbass question that everyone is waiting on...What is the point of using a DA cable? Is it b/c the DC cable isnt long enough?
