Maybe they didn't know the answer or maybe you didn't give it enough time.

Apexi N1 last time I checked was 60mm od or 3"od. Not 2 1/2".
And seeing as you've modded the stock R exhuast to fit your car, how do you think we'd be able to guess if what you're asking will work?
Ok, I'll guess yes. But don't hold me to it.

I took a further look at their site and a bunch of old postings, something that I'd suggest the original poster to do,
And the catback for our cars comes in 60mm od. But there is a Turbo N1 muffler only available at 80mm, which is actually 3.14". But this was the muffler cannister only and required fabbing up all the piping infront of the muffler to the cat.
And on another note, there were concerns in some old postings about using the N1 axle back section mated to the stock cat to axle portion of piping that the N1 flange is flat as opposed to the stock being round/ball shaped etc and it not fitting properly. Dunno what the outcome was though, didn't find a decisive answer for this issue.

i was just concerned with it bolting up to t he cat. i didnt put the exhuast on my car it came like that so i didnt know what would fit and what wouldnt. i know since mine is a 4dr its gonna have to be messed with to fit but thats expected. just wanted to make sure it bolted up where it was supposed to

Yeah if you are using a stock 4dr gsr cat the n1 cat back will bolt right up. If you are ordering the exhaust new then they make it for a 4dr. If your using a cat back from a 2dr or a hb then you will have to make it longer by adding in a few ft of pipe.
