No...Different harnesses

y8=obd2
z6=obd1

Dirfferences???

ECU Plugs, knock sensor, injector plugs dizzy plugs....shall I keep going?

damn civic-4-ges is all over that ****. he nailed it on the head if you have a 92-95 that had a Z6 in it and you are swapping in a Y8 you could retain your stock harness, but you will have to steal stuff from the Z6 like the injectors, alternator, etc. you dont need to run the knock sensor, you can run a B7 dizzy, and if you have all this **** laying around it would probably be easier/cheaper than getting a Y8 harness imo. and then keep your P28.

or just use the y8 harness and swap plugs!

Ok so this guy he sold me an si with a spun rod bearing in the d16Y8.... he has the stock z6 which runs and thats what i'm trying to put into the car....

The car is using the P28 ecu and he did tell me that the Z6 injectors n some other things were on the Y8. So i'm assuming this guy probably went the route that Lohatch was speaking of?

so put the Z6 back in the car. use the z6 harness use all the OBD1 stuff. like the injectors, alternator, etc.
