FITV leaking?

FITV leaking?
Is it possible for a FITV to leak coolant into the manifold? I have 95' DX w/over 300k. Two weeks ago was a cold night and had fluctuating idle at start but went away after warm-up. Since then the cars been using 12 oz. of coolant per day. approx. 30 miles of driving.
