Any machine shop should be able to do it for you.. Im not sure on the price but keep in mind that you can get a brand new Fidanza flywheel for $189 shipped..

I thought the 86-89 integra used the standard b-series flywheel?

Talk to Brian at Clutch Specialties in Fullerton. He might be able to help you out. We stopped lightening stock flywheels a few years ago because people were racing with them and the parts had liability all over them. If it's done right there is no more danger than a stock flywheel and Brian knows what he is doing. Tell him I sent you.

Steve's Import Auto in Azusa I remember had done the flywheels for us way back a few years ago. Check them out, they may still do them.

That's scary and precisely why we stoped lightening them a few years ago. I have seen first hand a couple Honda flywheels blow up so it is definitely not "completely safe". The official rules for any of the racing organizations require SFI certified flywheels and clutches for cars running 11.99 and faster for a reason. I disagree about setting 1/4 mile times but that is probably the best way they can regulate it. I remember a few years back when the Kubos had one blow up in Palmdale. It took out the whole back of the block, broke the end of the crank just short of cylinder 4 and of course the transmission housing. Luckily it didn't escape the housing that time, since it blew up at a fairly low rpm. As long as the flywheel is in good shape, doesn't get abused (which starts cracks), and you keep within stock rpm limits, you are relatively safe.
