Stupid light came on today cause car thinks I need an oil change,how do I reset it to turn it off? Not the check engine light but the maintance required light.

 

there should be a small square button on the under side of your drivers side dash, i had my teg for a long *** time before i figured that out

 

ya there is a small, square button about 2 inches in under the dash slightly to the right of the steering wheel.. press and hold for a few seconds and the maintenence required light should turn off..

No you don't need to remove any plastic to get to the button. Just put your head underneath the steering column and look up.

 

ok so past the plastic closer to the pedals,cause I just looked around an didnt see anything.What color am I lookin for?

 

I actually just reset mine today. I just bought my GSR and it was on when i bought it. The other guys are right. I don't know if it will make a difference but the acura dealer guy told me to press and hold the button then turn the key to the on position and hold the button for 15 seconds. That seemed to work for me.

 

Its right on the edge of the plastic not to far from your right knee. Its a square button yous should feel.
