Another Y8 Manifold Question...need help =)
Ok, I posted a question earlier about the Y8 Manifold on my Z6 head/a6 block swap. I had a couple more questions about the Y8 Manifold
*EDIT* Thanks for answering my recent questions about the y8 manifold.
Another question, I've researched it on the board, but came up with nothing except a picture of the back of the Automatic IACV vs. Manual IACV on the Y8 Manifold (props to the peeps who gave the links)
Anywho, I've been trying to find the PCV valve on the 1998 Y8 Manifold. My manifold doesn't have a PCV valve between the 1st and 2nd runners on the top of the Y* Intake manifold. How am I going to hook up the Oil Breather to it?
Also, my TB has the Idle control on the throttle body. Does that mean that my manifold use to be an automatic but converted to a manual?
1988-1991 CRX SI PCV Valve

1998 PCV Valve

Any help is greatly appreciated,
Jon

just find the trend about how to convert auto to manual manifold, well i followed the instructions and it works perfectly for me
.the holes you drill are for the iacv.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=806484 this helped me . you should also take a look at your old intake manifold and see how it works . makes sense after a while heh.. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by fastcrxsi90 »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">does this help?
you will have to drill and tap the red hole, drill the green hole straight through, and drill the blue hole halfway through and then drill from the throttle body mating surface into that hole.
then you can use a normal 2 wire iacv, and any throttle body you want...</TD></TR></TABLE>

Sweet, looks like my Y8 manifold has the IACV on the back but its using a manual throttle body. And I dont have an opening for the *edit* PCV valve on the manifold itself between the #1 and #2 runners.

the pcv valve is on the y8 block connected to the oem catch can (correct me if im wrong :/) . so i believe you can just plug the valve into the black box on the back of your block.
