Default Budget turbo hatchback 1/8th mile video

It's a really short video clip.
The run was made on 22x8x15 M/T slicks. Other details of the car are in my signature.

Looked kidna slow off the line sicne the other car beside you beat you off the line so I was gonan say maybe work on the 60ft tiems but then I see your 1.93. Did you have much wheel spin on the 22" M/T's?

I only really have experience with 1/4 racing so can you tell me what that would *ROUGHLY* translate into in a full 1/4 mile race? I say roughly because we all know that high power fwd's make up there best time on the top end of the track. Good runs either way!

The other car just had a better reaction time. That night there wasn't a wheelspin issue with the 22"s, it was smooth off the line. Temperature was in the high 60s and the track was prepped really well. The 60-foot in the video was a 2.012. The 1.93 60-foot was from 24.5x8x13 M/Ts in 40-degree weather.

Using that 1/8th mile ET and mph, 11.9s might be possible. And considering the car gets more boost through the higher gears, I'm gunning for 11.9s. But low 12s will probably be more realistic, like a 12.0 or a 12.1. We're going to use the 24s when we go to Ennis(1/4 mile) and try to get a better 60-ft, It should be a lot warmer than it is now when Ennis opens back up.

Nice run mang . Hey, did you have to raise the car for the 24.5's???? What about the 22's?? About to get slicks and don't have coilovers

The car sits pretty high on the coilovers, so there was plenty of clearance.

For the 22s on stock 15" Honda wheels, it will clear the fenders because of the suspension geometry. But to run the 24.5s on 13x8 drag wheels, you might have to go with some coilovers or stock springs. They stick out a lot out of the fender. It all depends on how low your car is and what wheels you're using.

Have you looked into 22x8x13s? I think the sidewalls are too small on the 22x8x15s.

The exhaust is not hooked up on the car. It's running a 3" open downpipe.

I've always liked single cam motors and their underdog status.
