Default anyone here with a gsr with a xsi tranny

i have b16 xsi motor that i'm to swap for a gsr. i'm keeping tranny and i was wording if else has that set up?

no maybe YOU will understand..

Xs1.. J1 From the Integra's.

Yes i have this setup. GSR motor with J1 (xsi) tranny. Its a great and fun setup because of the tight gearing

I believe the tranny is "S1"... not "J1". (At least that's what my XSi motor came with, and yes it is VERY short gearing)

j1 and and s1 are nearly identical, if not are.

Japanese S-1 and J-1 have identical gear ratios. I have the 92-93 Xsi that came with the YS-1

FWIW The S1 came with the XSi, the coupe. The J1 came with the RSi, or the 4 door version... Both ran the PR3.
