let's see some front mounted B.O.V.'s
Here's Arturbo's race car

And mine's in the front/side, but not visible through the 4-door bumper

And Kyle's old Supra w/bov mounted in the front

the valve is sealed and only lets air out when it reaches a certain pressure. so water won't get in when its closed and when the pressure is really i'm sure its more than enough to push the water away.
Not all. Some stay open in vacuum. What I mean is, water collecting inside the valve, causing corrosion in the valve or other things. Think about it.
Yeah, what are the advantages... besides sound? haha
I would think that it would be worse b/c of the delay from the vaccumm source when the vaccuum line is too long?

Wouldnt that angled blow off valve be a bit odd on the aerodynamics side of things? I mean when your going like 100+ MPH and your blow off valve goes off wouldnt air flow be forced into that small hole when air is trying to escape it? I would guess so....I dunno...
Its mostly for the sound i guess, i wouldnt want it as exposed as it is in ^ that one though...yikes
Nice car though
