Is it possible to make 350 whp with Vortech blower on otherwise stock S2K?
This guy in Oklahoma claims he is making 350 whp with a Vortech supercharger kit with front mount intercooler, stock bottom end. What do you guys think? Possible or not?
Bottom line is: the injectors run out of fuel around 320-330 hp. He could boost way up with a small pulley and get close to 350 but the thing would be running extremely lean. Raise the BS flag if it is an otherwise stock engine with a Vortech kit.
umm i think it's possible......there's a couple of people on s2ki that have pushed that number with a vortech supercharger.... you upgrade the stock injectors.... and umm injectors are not a part of the bottom end...
yes very much so. I know several guys with comptech and Vortech SCs well into the 300 plus range! Watch out that little SOB with 350hp is a rocket!
He has nothing else besides the supercharger kit with intercooler. Not even a VAFC, not that it would make a big difference if he had it. Its stock with SC and intercooler nothing else.

it's not possible without tuning... and why would you use a vafc anyways... you should opt for an aem ems if you want to push 350rwhp with a supercharger....
and the front mount intercooler doesn't matter.... it's no more effecient then the aftercooler the superchargers come with....

Thats what i think too. See the story is this guy and I are on a local forum and hes always talking **** to me. I read on there something about him putting down 350 whp. After i put this up and from what i can tell he is just bullshitting, i brought it up to him and he was like "I never said that somebody else did Blah, Blah, Blah"
A different pulley and a little dyno time. Not sure if the Vortech has a FPR or not, but 9 psi pulley and a few turns of the FPR 350 easy. Safely and the right way to do it, no.
to get around 350hp i would say you would have to have atleast a 10lb pulley with an after or intercooler and bigger injectors. Definately some sort of fuel control. Vafc or aem etc. tell that guy to put his money where his mouth is!
