Default do i need a bigger fuel rail?

setup:

stock LS block
built LS head
T3/T4E
Hondata

fuel setup:
440cc injectors
walbro intank
fuel pressure regulator/fuel gauge

just want your opinion. don't want to spend more money if i don't need to. i'd rather spend it on tuning but if this will make my tuning session easier, ill do it

I don't think so. I am running the ls/vtec with a t3/t4 at 15 psi and 550cc's. I don't have any problems.

For a LS.. You're going to need bigger than 440s if you're looking to make 300HP. My brother had a 93hatch LS boosted.. est 220whp. 450cc injectors maxed out at 7grand @ 8-9psi. This was tuned by Blundar from http://www.pgmfi.com (super honda tuning guru guy). I would start looking in the 500s or 600s.

The stock rail should be able to flow enough fuel for around 500whp.

this doesn't make sense. Those 450's shouldn't max out at only 220whp. What was this car tuned with? If its tuned with uberdata then the duty cycle percentages are somewhat off. I've heard of people running 120% duty cycle and the injectors weren't actually maxing out.

Yeah.. was tuned using Uberdata. The injectors were pretty close to being maxed out according to Dave ( Blundar ). Either way.. I would definitely go bigger than 440cc.

u think it's because of uberdata or the tuner? i'm pretty sure 440s don't max out at 220.

You're right, they don't. The stock 240's are good to almost 220whp.
