P1259 Code How to fix on 99 Accord F23A1??
So I was playing around on the interstate last night and all of a sudden when I started reading boost my car would bog down. Since my CEL light always stays on I couldn't tell if it threw another code or not. I went to O'Reilly's today and scanned the ecu and got codes P1259 - Vtec System Circuit Fault Bank 1, P0172 - System too rich, and P0141 - O2 Sensor Malfunction Bank 2 ( I have no downstream O2 sensor because of the turbo setup and 3" exhaust with no Cat. So the p0172 not too worried about that just needs to be tuned with FMU and the p0141 not worried about because no sensor can be put there. I am just worried about how to fix the P1259 code. I can drive the car fine like all the way upto 80 mph no problem but if I start reading boost it bogs and I normally read boost before vtec kicks in. So how do I fix this problem??? I have a Helms manual but it's going to be a couple of days before I can get it from my parents house.
Thanks,
Matt
Thanks,

Diagnosing a VTEC system problem will be more difficult since your CEL is always on. Knowing whether the VTEC code pops at low or high rpms will narrow down the possibilities alot.
The first thing I would check is the oil level, then i'd remove the oil fill cap to see if the engine is a sludge monster. Any internal engine mods?
