Default crap!!!!

ok, first off i have a 1991 honda civic si with a b16 swap in it. just to let you know what your dealing with. For one my wheel sounds like its going to fall off, or atleast it feels like its skipping on the road when i turn, i have no idea what is wrong with it. If its my axle or what? second, something is up with my idle. This happend to my in my last car but cant recal what it was that caused the problem. The idle slowly rises a grand then drops, then slowly rise then drops. it does this over and over, i havent sat long enough to see how long it will do it. So if you guys have any clue what these problem might be that would be AWSOME. thank you so much.

Does your car make a clicking noise when you turn? Can you see if the CV boots are shot? You may see a ton of grease splattered everywhere.

Sounds to me like a wheel bearing more so than a CV problem.

"skipping on the road", if the other problems these guys have mentioned don't show up to anything, then check the toe (alignment) on the tire that you think is skipping. Also check to see if there is a diagnol wear pattern on the tire. That a dead give away that that is the problem. I just started on this site and don't know too much about imports but i'm getting there. Problems like that come around every so often so just giving you a clue. Hope it helps.

Does the idle problem occure after the engine is warmed up? If so it might me the FITV. Do a search for it. I believe someone did a post with pictures and how to fix it.
