To those with 4 pot calipers
I just installed my fastbrakes kit with the 4 pot calipers.. ive bleed the rear brakes in order and did fine, but the front brakes have two bleeder valves which are tricking me. I tried bleeding the outside valve but got no fluid, then the inside and the same. The brake line has fluid because i checked and it is flowing in, the pistons have moved and are pressing the pad, but there is no pedal pressure. I accidently stripped the outside valve screwing it in, and now it leaks fluid but i cant tighten or loosen it. So what should i do? Am i bleeding them right? Where can i buy a bleeder valve from? I need pedal pressure!! ARGHH..
First, you have to replace that stripped screw. If you've stripped the caliper, you'll have to take it off and have it tapped. Bleed from the inside valve first, then the outside, and what I did was bled the inside again briefly to make sure there are no bubbles left.
I miss those Alcons I had on my S4

EDIT: its not a stripped screw, its a rounded nut. for some reason i dont think they willl have these at my local Big Kmart. Anyone know were to get them? inside then outside.. got it...just so i know for future reference why is it inside the outside and not the other way around?

Basically you're just trying to fill up all the passages in the caliper. I found it easier to do that from the inside out. And double checking the inside afterwards. It really doesn't matter terribly much, as long as you get all the air out.
If it's a Wilwood caliper, you can either get it from Wilwood directly, or ask Fastbrakes for a spare.

If the screws are a tough one to loosen, use a 6 sided hex socket for maximum torque and surface contact this will help prevent stripping the hex of the screw.
Once it is loose, you can use a box wrench to do proceed with bleeding the brakes.
And for your rounded nut, get some Vice Grips and find a wrnech or something to put on th eend for more leverage, then turn it SLOWLY to loosen it. Do not hammer or pound th evice grips to help loosen thenut, that will make the vice grips bite into the hex even more.
-- good luck --
