Default lowering question

those of you who have lowered your car (beyond 2 in), what setup do you have to prevent tire wearing?

Dropped my car an 1.5'' and I didn't get alignment or camber, within 4k miles the inside of my fronts were down to the metal.

Just recently I got full alignment, the guy told me my toe was all wacked out but I didn't really need a camber kit. (I had 1.6'' neg camber)

Not to jack your thread but my car drives straight, it doesn't pull left or right. However, when driving in a straight direction, my steering wheel is pointed a little to the left. So...does this mean that I don't have to worry about added tire wear due to alignment issues cuz my car goes straight anyways?

I had mine lowered on KYB's and Skunk2 coilovers 2.5" and I got an alignment and everything was fine, no unusual tread wear or anything! However, I didn't have the setup for long as I am selling it for turbo but I assume that if I had ridden on them for more than as long as I did (600mi), I probably would have seen some unusual tire wear. But either way, it wasn't bad!
