"There are more than 100,000 different combinations... You are assured that your Ravelco plug is unique...3.5 million installations worldwide."

Seems contradictory that there's 100k+ combinations with 3.5 million installs, each with a unique plug.

With every new invention, there will be a new technique to disable or avoid it. It is pointless, insurance is the best bet.

What about pulling that POS out and electronically bypassing it... Like hotwiring has been done since cars first came around.

it's kinda interesting.. i looked into doing something like this over the summer, just couldn't find a practical enough relay at fry's. heh.

it's just a big fancy kill switch/ relay.

bypassing it manually is a PITA. if you DIY and do a good job or get a good install, what you can do is take out your dash and rewire everything in there all the way to your ECU so the wires are black. voilaaaaa. good luck manually matching the wires.. there's way too many combinations to deal with.

i donno. i kinda like it and might still do it as a project in the future. didn't know someone else was selling it as a package.

Makes sense.

Looks like yet another shitty anti-theft device. The only one that will truely work is have a daily driver. And when storing the car, take 1 or 2 of the wheels off and store them else were.
