I am kinda new here and i am gonna start building up my b18b and want to turbo it. i was woundering if anyone here can help me with stuff like. what should i do with the block like how should i build it up so it can stantd the turbo? should i put different parts into the head? and what turbo should i use? i was told by one of my friends not to buy a complete greddy turbo just to mix things and put them together. he said it was better. but i dont know what it good and what is crap so i could really use the help thanks.

but, I guess, all "dickishness" aside, your best bet is to at least build the bottom end with some forged stuff. That'll get you by safely on mild boost. But if you are wanting a 600 hp dyno queen, then you're gonna need to build it up a lot more.

What are your goals? HP?

 

my goal is to at least have about 300 hp or something like that but not have to worry about something blowing up in like a month

 

U could push like 9 - 11 psi on a stock LS motor I dynoed 242 at the wheels on 9 psi of boost i was using a T3/TO4B Turbo Wid revhard manifold, tial wastegate,and a drag intercooler
