He means that he is getting **** from the police for not having a front plate. Also IMO the car looks a lot cleaner with the plate off to the side and lower than smack-dab in the middle of the bumper.

most states will have a law about having the front plate on, mounted on the exterior of your car. Namely...the front bumper ( there's statutes that state HOW exactly its supposed to be mounted...but it may differ per state ). If you're thinking about putting the front plate on your dash, be aware that if a cop feels like it, he can give you a ticket for it. I know I got one for doing that
That...and should you get into an accident, given if the impact is strong enough, the passenger may not like you too well for having the plate on the dash

I think sticking a plate in your dash corner is the dumbest idea. It's not visible, and is dangerous becuase it may become a moving projectile. If anyone is even thinking about putting their plate on the dash, then don't put one on your car at all.
No front plate on bumper = ticket
Front plate on dash = ticket
you decide which you would rather get a ticket for.

everybody made good points. but heres the deal. it is in fact illegal where i live to not have a front plate at all. i have it in the dash as of now, a cop "mentioned" it to me and suggested i do something about it. ive already gotten a court summons for my lowrider plates. i.e. there isnt one on the front, and the rear is stuck in the window due to my lack of time to weld together my tailgate and rollpan. so the more i can do to stay out of trouble with my integra, the better. and plus once i boost, i want to be able to see my intercooler and have nothing (or little to nothing) in the way of the flow of air. most people want to hide their intercooler, i do not. so its everyones choice and opinion. i more/less have to put the plate on teh front, and id rather do something different and throw it to the side a bit. smack in the middle just looks ghey to me. but thats MY opinion.
You don't need to buy any relocator POS (no offence to whoever bought one). All you need is the bottom bracket peice plate holder. I'm sure almost every Civic/Integra came with one. It looks like a "Y" and holds the bottom part of the License plate onto the grill.
Take the b*tch off and flaten out the section that connects to the grill. Bend the "Y" to your likeing and drill 2 holes to wherever you want to locate the plate. VIOLA !

when i used to deliver parts for a company, i was picking up honda parts at the dealership one day and they just gave me like 20 of those I HEART my honda stickers. They're free as far as i know.
