where to buy online for a starter for 91 accord ex?
Its a 5 speed. I also looked at car-parts.com but it was asking whether I am looking for a Mitsuba or Nippondenso brand?
Please let me know. Thanks.
Please let me know. Thanks.
I would go with http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com it's oem parts...I believe nippon/denso are the JHMCB7 (japan made) versus mitsuba are the 1HMCB7 (canada or US made) going off serial number
.
but I would check your starter just to be sure

I was looking at the silver sticker on the starter and it read...
JME corporation 53108, 12v SM-402-05, 31200-PTO
So, am I missing something here or is that not an OEM starter.
I also checked that link but it only gave me parts for the starter. I was thinking of purchasing a whole new starter and not to rebuild the existing one.
Please let me know. Thanks.
