Hi I left my crx Del sol (Japanese import, Auto transmition) rurring for a couple of hours, It died and wont start. The engibe is turning and I have checked the mechical side of things.

could somthing have overheated? Is thers some sort of immobiliser safety built in?

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

 

Does it take a while to start?? i had that problem but it was my main relay. i replaced the main relay and my baby was running ..

 

Check your ECU fuse under the hood. I had that problem in my 94 sol, it kept blowing the ecu fuse for some reason. it would run for a while and then shut off and would crank all day, but wouldn't turn over. turns out it was a bare wire on the ecu.
